Single Sign-On for Business Apps

LAMTANS Single Sign-On gives your business one secure login for all its systems and one screen to control who can open what. Staff sign in once with a password and an authenticator code, then click a card to open an app already signed in. It is live inside the LAMTANS Group.

Single sign-on for business apps, in plain words
Single sign-on means you prove who you are once, and every connected system trusts that proof. Think of a hotel key card. Reception checks your identity once, and the card opens your room and the gym. Without it, every door has its own lock and key.
The problem it solves
Adding a starter means one account, not one per app.
Removing a leaver means locking one account, not visiting every app.
A forgotten password is reset in one place.
Two-step security is the same for every app.
One login log shows who signed in, when and from which device.
What is live today
Single login with a password and authenticator code.
A home page of cards that owners add, edit and reorder with no code.
One-click entry, live for four LAMTANS Group applications.
One staff directory, so a person exists once.
An owner role to create users, lock accounts and reset authenticators.
A hold on sign-ins from unknown devices until an owner approves them.
One active session per person, and a login log with address and device.
Group chat, in its first version.

Planned
Automatic email invitations, one screen for all users, a switch to close each app's own login, a company password and renewals vault, an employee portal and a shared lead page are planned. They are not yet available.

Who it is for
It suits businesses that run three or more web applications and a team that needs access to them. A business with only one application does not need it. Typical users are installers, digital agencies, accountancy firms and groups of companies.

Status and packaging
The portal is built and proven inside the LAMTANS Group. It is not yet packaged for outside customers, and where customer versions would be hosted is still undecided. [TEAM: confirm packaging and hosting before this page goes live]

Frequently asked questions
Is this a password manager?
No. A password manager stores many passwords. Single sign-on removes the need for most of them.
How do people sign in?
With a password and a six-digit code from an authenticator app. The code changes every thirty seconds.
What happens when someone leaves?
An owner locks one account, and the portal stops that person reaching any connected app.
Can customers buy it today?
Not yet. It is live inside the LAMTANS Group and is not yet packaged for outside customers.
Does it change what people can do inside each app?
No. The portal decides who arrives. Each app still decides what they can do there.
