LAMTANS Accountant Software is accountancy practice management software for UK firms, now at design stage. It is planned to turn paper, PDFs and email chasing into one digital workflow. It is not available yet, and it is being shaped with one real UK practice before it is offered more widely.
Accountancy practice management software in design
The product is designed for small and mid-sized practices that still receive clients' records as paper, PDFs and emails. Several building blocks already run inside the LAMTANS ERP for the group's own use, but no feature below is sold as a finished product.
What we plan to build
Document scanning that reads supplier, date, net, VAT and total for checking.
Bank statement reading and matching of payments to invoices.
A deadline calendar for every client, with the rule behind each date.
Automatic reminders before each deadline.
A client portal where clients see requests and upload records.
Jobs that raise the firm's own invoice when complete.
AI helpers that prepare routine work for a person to approve.
Staff sign-in through LAMTANS Single Sign-On.
Planned rules
A person approves what matters. Nothing is sent to HMRC without a named person approving it. Every number read from a document is shown for checking before it is saved. One client can never see another client's records, and every date shows its source.
Making Tax Digital
Making Tax Digital for Income Tax is being phased in for sole traders and landlords. The software is not yet recognised by HMRC and cannot submit to HMRC until it is. [TEAM: verify the thresholds and dates on gov.uk before stating them]
What already runs inside our ERP
The LAMTANS ERP already contains a receipt reader, bank line import, Companies House sync, deadline reminders and invoicing, used for the group's own companies. These are building blocks, not product features.

We do not promise that. The aim is that the same team can look after more clients.
What if my clients still send paper?
Your staff scan or photograph it and upload it for them. The client portal is optional.
Which countries will it cover?
The UK first. Other countries would be separate packs, each researched before it is offered.
